Thomas Edison made the first films ever in New Jersey, and the birth of the film industry was in Fort Lee, New Jersey, where early westerns were filmed on the cliffs of the Palisades. Since then, many film and television classics have been set in the state, including the "Sopranos" and "American Hustle." TV critic David Bianculli, himself a resident of New Jersey, takes us on a tour.
