Emerge 11 at Aljira

  • Aired: 10/30/2014

  • Rating: NR
We visit Emerge 11, an exhibit of 21 artists at Aljira, A Center for Contemporary Art, in downtown Newark, NJ. Emerge is much more than a group art show. It’s also a professional development program for artists created by Founding Director Victor Davson. We spoke with him and five of the Emerge 11 artists: Tai Hwa Goh, David Rios Ferreira, Vikki Michalios, William David Caballero and Nell Painter.
