The storm veered inland where high snow totals made for heavy lifting in northwestern parts of the state. Delivering to the Northeast not much snow but stinging sleet and icy slush. Putting salt spreader operations in overdrive. And gave the shore a glancing blow that combined with high tide caused moderate flooding. Prompting a Jersey chorus of "is that all you got?"
